This was a first in-person Econometric Society Meeting since 2020 and it gave us a great opportunity to receive more feedback on the paper analyzing capital diversity channel in the international capital flows. The general reception both during the presentation and in the conversation that followed was positive, as everyone was appreciating a clear contribution to the literature. We received a few useful and interesting comments related to the fundamental underlying features of the economy that manifest themselves as a less than perfect substitution of domestic and foreign ownership of capital.
